HISWA Qualified Yacht Surveyors are yacht experts affiliated with the HISWA Association. They specialise in appraisals and pre-purchase inspections of pleasure boats. HISWA experts meet all requirements in terms of knowledge, craftsmanship, schooling, experience and skills. Before joining HISWA, experienced colleagues from the yacht industry will subject these skills to various verbal, written and practical tests. Once a member is qualified and admitted to the Association, both knowledge and skills are kept updated by attending meetings, courses, and theoretical and practical workshops; all of which are registered in a PE system.
